A typical half day tour is conducted either in the first or the second half of a day. The first half tour starts at 9:00 AM from your hotel and we will drop you back to your hotel around 2:00 PM. If you wish to take the afternoon tour, we should be starting around 2:00 PM and complete the tour around 7:00 PM. The choice of time slot depends on your preference as well as local weather and time of year you are travelling. We will try our best to create an itinerary to suit your needs best.
Visit Mother House of Mother Teressa and learn about the humanitarian activity of Missionaries of Charity.
South Park Street Cemetery we will drive past the cemetery but will not be spending time inside.
Mallick Ghat Flower Market which is the largest flower market in India.
Visit Howrah Bridge and have a glimpse of the bridge from Jagannath Ghat
Visit St. John’s Church, an architectural marvel from the colonial era. Explore its historical significance, and admire the beautiful stained glass windows.
Drive through Colonial landmarks of Calcutta including the Writers’ Building, General Post Office (GPO), Town Hall, High Court, Raj Bhavan & Assembly, and Eden Gardens.
Visit St. Andrew’s Church, a historic Scottish kirk, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.
Head to Princep Ghat for a picturesque view of the Howrah Bridge, Victoria Memorial, and St. Paul’s Cathedral as they light up during the evening.
Drive past the Indian Museum, The large museum takes a long time to visit, it can not be covered in a short half day tour.
