Murshidabad is a city located in the Murshidabad district of the Indian state of West Bengal. It holds significant historical importance as it served as the capital of Bengal during the 18th century, under the rule of the Nawabs of Bengal. The city is situated on the eastern bank of the Bhagirathi River.

Day 1: Drive from Calcutta to Murshidabad in about 6 hours (210 km). Note: there are interesting tourist places on the way such as Shantipur / Phulia famous for its weaving tradition and Mayapur well known as the headquarters of ISKCON. If time permits we recommend an extra day be spent on the way to Murshidabad. Reach Murshidabad in the evening. Overnight at Murshidabad.

Day 2: After breakfast visit different sights of interest such as Hazarduari Palace, also known as the Palace of a Thousand Doors, and Katgola Palace, an excellent example of European architecture. Katra Mosque, Jahankosha Canon and other places.

Day 3: After breakfast start back for Calcutta. The tour ends at Calcutta
